St Mary Sheriff's Office 9/15

According to Sheriff Mark A. Hebert during the last 24 hours the Sheriff’s Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Michael Hebert 40 yoa of 506 Morris St., Franklin was arrested on 9-14-2011 at 10:00 am on a warrant for Failure to Comply with Terms and Conditions of Probation. Suspect was located at his residence, placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $2000.00 bond at this time.

Derrick Colbert 18 yoa of 77 ½ MLK Road, Charenton was arrested on 9-14-2011 at 9-14-2011 at 2:24 pm on a warrant for Illegal Use of a Weapon. Suspect was located at his residence, placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $50,000.00 bond at this time.

William Roberson 49 yoa of 805 North Everett St., Morgan City was arrested on 9-14-2011 7:24 pm on warrants for Failure to Appear on the charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and three, Failure to Appear for Criminal Neglect of Family. Deputy was investigating a traffic stop on Hwy 182 in Patterson, when it was learned of warrants for above suspect’s arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with an $8664.33 bond and was later released.

Micah Raley 23 yoa of 440 MC 6024 Yellville, Arkansas was arrested on 9-14-2011 at 11:25 pm for three counts of Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm with Obliterated Serial Numbers. Deputy was called to 9699 Hwy 182 in reference to subject pointing a gun. Upon Deputy’s arrival into the parking lot suspect vehicle was attempting to leave when subject outside yelled that is the subject that pulled the gun. Deputy conducted a stop of suspect vehicle in the parking lot of Cherrie’s II in Amelia. Deputy then removed suspects from vehicle and conducted an investigation. During investigation it was learned that suspect had an argument with subjects from the lounge and that he pulled weapon and pointed it at subjects standing outside. Deputy retrieved weapon from vehicle and was unable to locate any serial numbers or markings because gun had been painted over. After investigation above suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
