ST MARY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

The St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force, consisting of St. Mary Sheriff Dept., Morgan City Police Dept., Patterson Police Department Franklin Police Dept., Baldwin Police Dept., Berwick Police Dept., and Chitimacha Police Dept., report the following arrests:

Juan L. Rodriguez-Seijo age 48 of Solar’s Apartments #35 Morgan City, La. Was arrested on
November 25, 2008 at 458pm on 11th St. in Morgan City, La. and charged with Possession of Cocaine. Agents of the St. Mary Parish Narcotics Task Force were patrolling the area of 11th St. in Morgan City. While doing so agents started speaking with the subject, agents then asked the subject what he had in his right hand in which the subject opened his hand and agents observed suspected Crack Cocaine (2 white rocks) in the palm of his hand. The subject was identified as Juan L. Rodriguez-Seijo. He was transported to the Parish Jail for booking and incarceration.

According to Sheriff David Naquin during the past 24HR period the Sheriff’s Office responded to 37 complaints over the past period and reports the following arrests:

Ashley Sanders Jr age 42 of 108 Diane Lane Patterson, La was arrested on 11-25-08 at 455pm on charge of Issuing Worthless Checks. He was issued a summons to appear in court.

Bernard B. Williams age 46 of 516 Murphy Street Patterson, La. was arrested on 11-25-08 at 637pm and charged with Simple Battery Domestic Abuse. This stems from an investigation by deputies who were called to the Plantation Inn Motel reference to a female victim being beaten. This was about a disturbance between Bernard and the female in which Bernard struck the female. No medical treatment needed. Bernard was transported to the parish jail for processing and incarceration.

Lance Dewayne Escort age 29 of 623 Louisa street Morgan City, La was arrested on 11-25-08 at 202am and charged with Remaining Where Forbidden. Deputies were called to a residence in the Centerville area about a suspect trying to get in to the caller’s house. Lance was previously told not to come back to the property and he did. He was located at the property and placed under arrest. He was transported to the parish jail for processing and incarceration.
