St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office 7/13

According to Sheriff David Naquin during the last 24 hours the Sheriff’s Office responded to 48 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Martin Ramirez 25 yoa of 1827 Barrow St. Lot # 2, Amelia was arrested yesterday morning on a warrant for Criminal Mischief. Ramirez was located at his residence, placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $500.00 bond at this time.

Weighlyn Madison 46 yoa of 761 Utah St., Berwick was arrested shortly before noon yesterday, on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Issuing Worthless Checks. Maidson turned himself into the Sheriff’s Office after learning of a warrant for his arrest. Madison was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $1500.00 bond and was later released.

Angel Laine 41 yoa of 218 Amelia St., Morgan City was arrested shortly before one this morning, for Domestic Abuse Battery, Simple Criminal Damage to Property and Resisting an Officer.

Deputy was called to 127 Francis St. in Patterson in reference a disturbance. Upon Deputy’s arrival complainant advised that he and suspect were arguing when she committed a battery upon him and destroyed property in the residence. Laine was placed under arrest and when asked her personal information she refused to answer Deputy. Laine was booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
