ST MARY PARISH SHERIFF'S OFFICE - 7/7

According to Sheriff David Naquin during the last 24 hours the Sheriff’s Office responded to 39 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Tara N. Toups 28 yoa of 203 Newman St., Baldwin was arrested yesterday afternoon, on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Disturbing the Peace. Toups turned herself into the Sheriff’s Office after learning of a warrant for her arrest. She was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $1500.00 bond and was later released.

Lantrell J. Ayers 19 yoa of 129 Natalie Lane, Patterson was arrested yesterday evening, on warrants for Failure to Appear on the charge of Failure to Use Seatbelt and a warrant for Probation Violation. A Deputy was patrolling Hwy 90 in the Patterson area, when conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for crossing the fog lines. During the investigation Ayers, a passenger in the vehicle, was learned to have warrants for his arrest. Ayers was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Dwayne C. Francis 21 yoa of 327 Egle St., Morgan City was arrested last night on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Obedience to an Officer and Traffic Signs. Francis was located at his residence, placed under arrest on warrant and booked into the parish jail with a $293.50 cash bond at this time.
