St Mary Multi Jurisdictional Task Force 7/21

The St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force, consisting of St. Mary Sheriff Dept., Morgan City Police Dept., Franklin Police Dept., Baldwin Police Dept.., Berwick Police Dept., and Chitimacha Police Dept.. report the following arrests:

Harold Randle 29 yoa of 142 Mary Garrett Lane, Charenton was arrested on 7-20-2011 at 3:26 pm for Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Violation of CDS Laws Drug Free Zone and warrants for Lafayette Parish for Failure to Appear on the charges of Expired Inspection Sticker and Driving Under Suspension. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at above location. During investigation Agents located crack cocaine with an approx. street value of $700.00 along with drug paraphernalia. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $5000.00 bond on St. Mary Parish charges and released. Suspect was then turned over to Lafayette Parish on their charges.

Jermaine Brown 25 yoa of 400 Nora St., Franklin and Ronnie Boatman 32 yoa of 1701 Pine St., Franklin were arrested on 7-20-2011 at 5:42 pm on the charges of Manufacturing of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Keeping a Disorderly Place, Violation of CDS Law, Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of CDS, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, with Brown also being charged with twelve counts of Public Intimidation and Boatman also being charged with Obstruction of Justice and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at 400 Nora St. in Franklin. Upon Agents entering the residence above suspects were located with Boatman attempting to flush cocaine in the bathroom. During a search of the residence Agents located crack cocaine, powdered cocaine, a firearm and several drug paraphernalia items. Residence was located within 2000 feet of a park. After investigation suspects were placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bonds at this time.
