ST MARY SHERIFF'S OFFICE 6/30

According to Sheriff David Naquin during the last 24 hours the Sheriff’s Office responded to 39 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Tina M. Torres 30 yoa of 115 Oak Lane, Centerville was arrested yesterday morning on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Suspect was located at her residence, placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court.

Carmen Orgeron 33 yoa of 125 Shannon St., Patterson was arrested yesterday morning on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Suspect turned herself into the Sheriff’s Office after learning of warrants for her arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court.

Jessica L. Daigle 21 yoa o1204 Columbus St., Morgan City and Magan R. Gaudet 18 yoa of 112 Ledoux Circle, Patterson were arrested yesterday afternoon for Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling and Simple Criminal Damage to Property. Arrests stems from an investigation into a burglary of a Bayou Vista residence. Suspect were located and brought in for questioning. After investigation both suspects were placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Amanda Soudelier 32 yoa of 804 Onstead St., Morgan City was arrested last night for Theft by Shoplifting. Deputy was called to the Family Dollar Store in Amelia in reference a shoplifter. Upon Deputy’s arrival it was learned from store employee that above suspect was observed taking items and concealing them in her purse. Items taken were valued at $7.00. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court.
