Franklin Foundation Hospital to change its name

Franklin Foundation Hospital CEO Stephanie Guidry announces the hospital will rebrand and change its name to Bayou Bend Healthy System. Guidry informed the St. Mary Parish Council of the plans on Wednesday, July 27 (please note the names of the other names that were considered.) (Video - the St. Mary Parish Council - office of Emergency Preparedness.)

American Legion Riders 20th Annual Freedom Ride, May 29th, 2022

It's that time again. The American Legion Riders are having their 20th Annual Freedom Ride on Sunday, May 29th, in conjunction with Memorial Day. They plan stopping at the Franklin Peace Memorial for 11am, where they will lay a wreath in honor of fallen veterans, and, listen to speakers.
