According to Sheriff David Naquin during the last 24 hours the Sheriff’s Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Johnel D. Smith Jr. 29 yoa of 2010 MLK Dr., Jeanerette was arrested yesterday morning on a warrant for Failure to Appear for Review Hearing. Deputy went to suspect’s residence with Jeanerette Police Department and placed suspect under arrest on warrant. Suspect was booked into the parish jail with a $244.00 cash bond and was later released.
Nicole Sanders 24 yoa of 160 Lenny’s Lane, Amelia was arrested on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Suspect was located at her residence, placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court this fall.
Jill Vining 32 yoa of 303 ½ Nicklaus St., Berwick was arrested yesterday morning on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Suspect was located at her residence, placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 10-20-2010.
Issac M. Martinez 28 yoa No Address Given was arrested yesterday shortly after noon, for Unauthorized Use of a Movable and Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling. Arrest stems from an investigation into the entry of a residence in the Bayou Vista area. Above suspect was developed as suspect and brought in for questioning. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
Niles Sylvester 31 yoa of 1008 Ciro St., Siracusaville was arrested last night on a warrant for Lafourche Parish for Failure to Appear on the charge of Possession of Marijuana. Suspect was located at above location, placed under arrest on warrant and booked into the parish jail with a $10,000.00 bond and was later released.
Raynell Polidore 17 yoa of 104 Edward Lane, Jeanerette was arrested last night at 7:20 pm for Off Road Vehicle on a Roadway. Deputy was patrolling the Four Corners area, when he observed a suspect riding a four wheeler on Jones Road # 2. Deputy conducted a traffic stop and after investigation placed suspect under arrest and issued him a summons to appear in court this fall.
Kendell Fletcher 30 yoa of 125 Madison St., Franklin was arrested last night on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Speeding. Deputy was patrolling Hwy 182 in the Baldwin area, when he conducted a traffic stop on above suspect vehicle for a burnt license plate light. During investigation it was learned of a warrant for suspect’s arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $308.50 cash bond and was later released.
Patrick McEniry 42 yoa of 148 Jupiter St., Bayou Vista was arrested last night on a warrant for City Court of Thibodeaux for Failure to Appear on the charges of Criminal Mischief, No Driver’s License, Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Failure to Maintain Control. Deputy was called to above location in reference a disturbance. While conducting investigation a warrants check was conducted with above suspect being placed under arrest on warrant and booked into the parish jail with a $25,000.00 bond at this time.
Dex Clements 23 yoa of 2045 River Road Lot # 1, Berwick was arrested this morning for Reckless Operation, Stop Sign Violation, Improper Lane Usage, Turn Signal Required and General Speed Law. Deputy was patrolling the Amelia area, when suspect vehicle made a right turn almost hitting Deputy’s unit. Suspect was observed speeding and driving reckless. Deputy conducted a traffic stop on North Verret Road. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest on above charges and booked into the parish jail with a $2000.00 bond at this time.
Edward A. Washington 50 yoa of 724 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia was arrested early this morning for Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated and Criminal Trespass. Deputy was patrolling the Amelia area, when above suspect was observed walking through yards on Friendship Alley. Suspect was detained and an investigation was conducted. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
