HOME ROBBERY INVASION IN HOUMA

On June 9th at 11:45pm, Houma Police responded to a residential burglary in progress in the
300 block of Merrill Drive.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that three (3) unknown male suspects wearing masks armed with guns forced their way into a residence and demanded money. The armed suspects took a black fire proof safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash from the residence and left the area in the residents 1997 Mercury Vehicle Bearing License Plate Number PWX488 headed towards Acadian Drive.

The suspects are described as being light skin black males who were in their 20's.

They hid their faces and heads with dark or black t-shirts, as one of the subjects was approx: 5'7", 160lbs with a scar or a tattoo mark in the face area of his body, another suspect was approx: 5'6", 140lbs., wearing a white pull over t-shirt with white shoes, and the other suspect was approx: 5'7" unk. Weight, wearing a black shirt with black shorts, who had dread locks style hair.

The officers patrolled the area and were unable to locate the suspects therefore anyone with information is asked to call Houma Police at 873-6371. The investigation is continuing.
