Morgan City Police Report

Captain Mike Banks reports the following arrests within the past
48hours:

Anthony Beron Henagin, 50, of 3 Egle Mill Lane
Arrested on Front Street near Franklin Street
Chared with Domestic Abuse Battery, and Appearing in public intoxicated
Details:
MCPD Officers responded to a call of a disturbance at 3 Egle Mill Lane. They arrived to find the victim and a witness. Both advised Officers that Mr. Henagin had been drinking. He and his wife, the victim, argued and Mr. Henagin grabbed his wife by the arms and pushed her against a wall. She left the residence where Mr. Henagin followed her. She went to a neighbor’s residence where Mr. Henagin again grabbed his wife by the arms and screamed at her in the presence of the witness. They informed Mr. Henagin that they were calling police and he left on a bicycle. He was located by Officers at the place of arrest. Officers observed Mr. Henagin to be intoxicated. He was advised his rights and admitted that he grabbed his wife and pushed her into a wall. He was placed under arrest and transported to the jail for booking.

Justin Pierre LeBoeuf, 34, of 404 Snead St. in Berwick
Charged with failure to pay a probation fee
Details: Subject came to Morgan City Police Department and turned himself in on the warrant and was booked into the jail.

Angela Renae Perkins 28, of 113 Bayou Corn in Belle Rose
Charged with Theft of less than $300 at Teche Regional Medical Center
Details:
MCPD responded to a call at Teche Regional. Officers arrived and were advised that Ms. Perkins was a patient and had been released. Medical staff at Teche Regional observed syringes and IV catheters in plain view inside her opened purse. Police were called and recovered seven syringes and four IV catheters which had been taken from a drawer in the room where Ms. Perkins had been treated. Ms. Perkins was arrested, transported to MCPD for booking.
