ST MARY PARISH SHERIFF'S OFFICE

According to Sheriff David Naquin during the past 24hr period the Sheriff’s Office responded to 41 complaints. Here are some arrests which stemmed from those complaints:

Shannon Dupre, age 36 of 3126 Oliva road, New Iberia, was arrested on charges of Failure to appear for court for DWI 2nd offense and warrants for 4 counts issuing worthless checks.

Michael Garner, age 38 of 107 Cecilia Street, Morgan City, was arrested on charges of Attempted Theft of Goods following an investigation at the Dollar General store in Amelia where Michael had tried to return merchandise that was stolen for money. He was issued a summons and released.

Nicholas Ray, age 25 of 620 Wendy Lane in River Ridge, La was arrested on charges of Theft, Criminal Mischief and Resisting an officer with force. This follows an investigation of theft of goods at the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Bayou Vista. Suspect stole beer from the store and was stopped walking away from the store. When stopped he tried to flee the area resulting in the resisting charge.

Brian Williams, 37 of 6231 Verdun Lane in Verdunville, was arrested on charges of Failure to appear warrant for DWI 3rd Offense.

Earl Bradley age 54 of 700 Iberia street in Franklin, was arrested on warrant for charges of Driving under suspension and Careless operation. He was transported to the parish jail for processing and incarceration.

Jamie Granger, age 28 of 506 Fourth Street in Morgan City, was arrested on warrants for Issuing worthless checks 4 counts. Three were from st Mary and summons was issued. One was from Terrebonne parish.

Rebecca Woodcock, age 18 of 12413 Canal Road in Gulfport, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the calumet area. She was released on summons to appear in court.
