St.Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Release

According to Sheriff David Naquin during the past 24HR period the Sheriff’s Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:


Anthony James, 49yoa of 1403 Pine street Franklin, La. Was arrested on 7-31-08 at 709am charged with Violation of a Protective order following a complaint that Mr. James was on the property he was ordered to stay away from resulting in said arrest. He was transported to the Parish Jail for processing and incarceration.

Gregory Dupree 25yoa of 403 Hwy 71/84 Coushatta, La was arrested on 7-31-08 at 1010am on a warrant charging him with Simple Battery from an incident that happened on 7-22-08. He was transported to the parish jail for processing and incarceration.

Levy Williams, 40yoa of 129 Friendship Alley, Amelia, La. Was arrested on 7-31-08 at 950am on warrants for Flight from an officer, Turn signal required, careless operation, improper lane useage and driving under suspension that had happened on 7-29-08. He was transported to the parish jail for processing and incarceration.

Shelly Lacaze, 30yoa of 301 BDC Lane Lot #20, Centerville, La. Was arrested on 7-31-08 at 748pm on a warrant from Iberia Parish for Failure to appear for Possession of Marijuana, She was transported to Parish Jail for processing and incarceration.

Chandler Chaisson 37yoa of 114 South Boudreaux st Montegut, La. Was arrested on 7-31-08 at 1128pm and charged with Simple Battery and Disturbing the Peace following an incident at Sandies Bar where Mr. Chaisson was accused of pushing a subject against the bar counter and then stumbling on the parking lot in an intoxicated manner.
