The St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force, consisting of St. Mary Sheriff Dept., Morgan City Police Dept., Patterson Police Department Franklin Police Dept., Baldwin Police Dept., Berwick Police Dept., and Chitimacha Police Dept., report the following arrests:
Operation Red October II
On October 22, 2008, Agents of the St. Mary Parish Narcotics Task Force had arrest warrants signed on the following Individuals. These arrests stem from ongoing investigations that Agents are continuing to work operation “Red October II”. This Operation will continue and additional arrests are expected.
Daniel L. Griffin 32 yoa of 320 Wren St., Morgan City was arrested on 10-22-2008 at 2:39 pm on a warrant for two counts of Distribution of Cocaine. Suspect was being held in the Morgan City Jail, the additional charge was added with suspect being held with no bond at this time.
Eric Robertson 45 yoa of 1429 Railroad Ave., Morgan City was arrested on 10-22-2008 at 2:39 pm on a warrant for Distribution of Cocaine. Suspect was in the parish jail on unrelated charges and was additionally charged with warrant with no bond at this time.
Gerald Dupas 22 yoa of 801 Iberia St., Franklin was arrested on 10-22-2008 at 2:39 pm on a warrant for Distribution of Cocaine. Suspect was being held in the parish jail on unrelated charges and was additionally charged with warrant with no bond at this time.
Quan Van Tran 48 yoa of 112 West Syls Lane # 2, Amelia was arrested on 10-22-2008 at 8:58 pm for Possession of Cocaine. Agents were patrolling the Amelia area, when they conducted a traffic stop on Lake Palourde Road. During investigation consent to search was conducted with crack cocaine being located in a cigarette pack belonging to the suspect a passenger in the vehicle. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
