According to Sheriff David Naquin during the last 24 hours the Sheriff’s Office responded to 49 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Tammy M. Aucoin 42 yoa of 115 Anna Belle Lane, Franklin was arrested on 9-8-2009 at 7:46 am on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Suspect was located at her residence, placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 12-7-2009
Tasha Luke 33 yoa of 180 Cane Road, Centerville was arrested on 9-8-2009 at 8:12 am on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Suspect was located at her residence, placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 12-7-2009.
Louis A. James 29 yoa of 153 Emy Lane, Patterson was arrested on 9-8-2009 at 8:46 am on a warrant for Domestic Abuse Battery. Deputy located suspect at 313 Sunset Ave. in Bayou Vista and placed him under arrest on warrant. Suspect was booked into the parish jail with a $1500.00 bond and was later released.
The St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force reports the following arrests:
On 9-8-2009 at 8:35 am a Juvenile Male 16 yoa of Franklin was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were patrolling the Verdunville area, when they conducted an investigative stop on suspect riding a bike in the roadway. During investigation a search of suspect’s person was conducted with drug paraphernalia being located. Juvenile was placed under arrest, processed and released to guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
Charles Spencer 63 yoa of 519 ½ MLK Blvd., Franklin was arrested on 9-8-2009 at 10:27 pm for Possession of Cocaine. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were patrolling the Franklin area of MLK Blvd., when they conducted a stop on suspect walking towards them. Upon Agents exiting vehicle suspect began to walk away. Agents detained suspect and conducted an investigation. During a search of suspect’s person crack cocaine was located on his person. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
