St. Mary Sheriff's Office 9/28

Amiee R. Bertrand 22 yoa of 218 Wren St., Morgan City was arrested on 9-28-2009 at 8:33 am on warrants for Failure to Appear on the charges of No Seat Belt, No Drivers License and No Proof of Insurance and a warrant for Lafourche Parish for Failure to Appear on the charges of Failure to Yield and No Drivers License on Person. Suspect was at the parish jail in Centerville for visitation when it was learned of warrants for her arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Sean M. Talabock 26 yoa of 1605 Parkview Dr., New Iberia was arrested on 9-28-2009 at 12:50 pm on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Glass Bottle Violation. Suspect turned himself into the Sheriff’s Office after learning of a warrant for his arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $5000.00 bond and was later released.

Heather Morales 31 yoa of 19454 Hwy 182, Charenton was arrested on 9-28-2009 at 3:52 pm on warrants for Issuing Worthless Checks. Suspect turned herself into the Sheriff’s Office after learning of warrants for her arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 12-7-2009.

Shane Orgeron 37 yoa of 1642 Front St., Morgan City was arrested on 9-28-2009 at 4:25 pm on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Suspect was located at his residence, placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 12-7-2009.

Tina R. Franklin 34 yoa of 3522 Hwy 182 # 41, Berwick was arrested on 9-28-2009 at 10:35 pm for Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated and Simple Criminal Damage to Property. Deputy was called to 107 Beau Lane in Bayou Vista in reference to suspect trying to get into a residence. Upon Deputy’s arrival above suspect was located sitting on the steps of the residence. Upon Deputy conducting investigation with suspect a strong odor of alcoholic beverage was observed upon her person. Suspect advised that she was at the residence attempting to get owners attention. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $750.00 bond at this time.

The St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force reports the following arrests:

Ruth Edwards 45 yoa and Paul Annaloro 39 yoa both of 306 Venus St. Bayou Vista and Aaron White 26 yoa of 156 Roger St., Charenton were arrested on 9-28-2009 at 6:30 pm with Edwards and Annaloro being charged with Possession of Marijuana over 400 grams, Keeping a Disorderly Place, Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of CDS, Possession of CDS in the Presence of a Juvenile and with Edwards also being charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, White was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Loritab with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Xanax with Intent to Distribute. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at 306 Venus St. in Bayou Vista. Upon Agents entering the residence Edwards and White were located in the residence with a young child. Agents conducted a search of the residence and located a brief case containing 20 bags of marijuana. Agents also located marijuana on a scale in the residence. Upon Agents searching White’s person a pill bottle containing Loritabs was located. Agents also searched White’s vehicle and located additional Xanax and Loritabs in the vehicle. While conducting investigation at the residence Annaloro returned to the residence. Agents also recovered $621.00 in United States Currency from suspects that was also seized. After investigation above suspects were placed under arrest on above charges and booked into the parish jail with no bonds at this time.
