St. Mary Police 9/11

The St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force reports the following arrests:

Ronald Colar 50 yoa of 186 Jones Road # 2, Jeanerette was arrested on 9-10-2009 at 6:50 pm for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were patrolling Jones Road # 2 in Four Corners when they conducted an investigative stop on two subjects standing in the road. During investigation it was learned that suspect had drug paraphernalia on his person. Suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 12-7-2009.

Deandre Prince 25 yoa of 156 Georgetown Road, Glencoe was arrested on 9-10-2009 at 7:59 pm for Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Xanax. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were patrolling the Glencoe area, when the located above suspect standing in the roadway and conducted an investigative stop. During investigation Agents located crack cocaine and Xanax on suspect’s person. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Gail Renthrope 53 yoa of 233 Robin St., Morgan City was arrested on 9-10-2009 at 10:05 pm for Possession of Loritab. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were patrolling Fifth St in the Morgan City area, when they observed suspect vehicle fail to stop at the stop sign and conducted a traffic stop. During investigation suspect a passenger in the vehicle was removed and a search of her person was conducted with four Loritabs being located on her person. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

According to Sheriff David Naquin during the last 24 hours the Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Daniel E. Vandusen 44 yoa of 2715 Fourth St., Berwick was arrested on 9-10-2009 at 5:55 am for Remaining Where Forbidden. Deputy was called to the Amelia Belle Casino in reference to removing a subject. Upon Deputy’s arrival it was learned that suspect had been banned from the casino and was located on the premises. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $500.00 bond and was later released.

Emma Jean Sereal 24 yoa of 1801 Church St., Jeanerette was arrested on 9-10-2009 at 10:27 pm on a warrant for Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card. Suspect turned herself into the Sheriff’s Office after learning of a warrant for her arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 12-7-2009.

Christopher Simpson 42 yoa of 228 Sorrell Rail Road Row, Jeanerette was arrested on 9-10-2009 at 7:10 pm on a warrant for Probation Violation. Agents were patrolling Jones Road # 2 in Four Corners when they conducted an investigative stop with two male subjects. During investigation it was learned of a warrant for above suspect’s arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $1000.00 bond at this time.
