St. Mary Parish Hurricane Gustav Recovery Update
St. Mary Parish continues to show progress in Hurricane Recovery efforts. Electricity has been restored to 99% of St. Mary residents.
Disaster Relief Centers will open Tuesday September 9, 2008, at 8:00 AM.
There are three locations for residents to apply for the disaster Emergency Food Stamp Program and the Corps of Engineers “Blue Roof Program”.
The three locations are the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall and Cafeteria at 318 Third St. Morgan City; Franklin City Park Recreation Center at the corner of Gum St. and Hospital Avenue in Franklin, and the West St. Mary Civic Center at 1472 Hwy 318 in Sorrell. Those persons who are already receiving Food Stamp Assistance do not need to re-apply for the Emergency Food Stamp Program.
THERE ARE NO SITES FOR MRE'S AND WATER IN ST MARY PARISH
