The Franklin Police Department responded to 42 complaints over the past weekend. Here are some of their arrests:
MONROE J. PROVOST, 38, of Bridge Road - Patterson
was arrested on a warrant dated June 11, 2009, charging him with 2 Cts. Cruelty To Animals. Mr. Provost was processed and released on a $1000.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
SEAN DEPREE JOHNSON, 37, of Sixth Street - Franklin, LA
was arrested and charged with Hit and Run Driving, 5 Cts. Negligent Injury, Reckless Operation of a Vehicle, No Insurance and Expired License Plate. Mr. Johnson was processed and held on a $7500.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Cour
WILLIE CHARLES LEE SR., 59, of Neco Town Road - New Iberia, LA
was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated - 3rd Offense, Speeding 59/45 and No License Plate Light. Mr. Lee was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
DESMOND D. FRANCIS, 21, of Hwy 182 - Franklin, LA
was arrested and charged with Speeding 42/25, Driving Under Suspension, Resisting An Officer By Giving False Information and 2 Cts. Resisting An Officer With Force. Mr. Francis was also processed on a warrant issued by Houma City Court, charging him with Failure To Appear. Mr. Francis was processed and held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
RAY ANTHONY MILLER, 26, of Main Street - Franklin, LA
was arrested and charged with Disturbing The Peace. Mr. Miller was processed and held on a $250.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
JERRY JEROME HALL, 48, of Hogan Lane - Franklin, LA
was arrested and charged with Resisting An Officer By Giving False Information. Mr. Hall was also processed on a warrant issued by 16th Judicial District Court, charging him with Failure To Appear. Mr. Hall was processed and held on a $1000.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court and no bond set at time of press release to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
