Rudolph Edwards 57 yoa of 1200 James St., Morgan City was arrested on 4-19-2010 at 7:44 am for Simple Burglary of a Vehicle and Open Alcoholic Container. Deputy was called to Ganaway’s store in Amelia in reference to a theft. Upon Deputy’s arrival it was learned from delivery truck driver and witness that above suspect, was observed taking three cases of beer from the truck and hiding it in a trash bin. Deputy located suspect on the pay phone with an open alcoholic container. Suspect was placed under arrest and identified by witness as the suspect who took the cases of beer from the truck. Suspect was booked into the parish jail on above charges with no bond at this time.
Donna Lynn Arton 46 yoa of 4724 Irish Bend Road, Franklin was arrested on 4-19-2010 at 3:34 pm on a warrant for Domestic Abuse Battery. Suspect was located at her residence, placed under arrest on warrant and booked into the parish jail with a $2500.00 bond and was later released.
