According to Sheriff David Naquin during the last 72 hours the Sheriff’s Office responded to 142 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Gennesha S. Prince 18 yoa of 158 Moon St., Bayou Vista was arrested on 10-31-2008 at 2:05 pm for Theft over $500.00. Arrest stems from an investigation into an employee theft at Wal-mart in Bayou Vista. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $2500.00 bond and was later released.

Russell D. Allen 39 yoa of 145 Mercury St., Bayou Vista was arrested on 10-31-2008 at 6:50 pm on two warrants for Failure to Comply with Terms and Conditions of Drug Court. Suspect was located at his residence, placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $200,000.00 bond at this time.

Ebony E. Jordan 23 yoa of 1351 Joseph St., Morgan City was arrested on 10-31-2008 at 7:51 pm on warrants for Issuing Worthless Checks and Failure to Appear on the charge of Failure to Use Seat Belt. Deputy was called to 300 Third St. in Morgan City in reference to a complaint. During investigation it was learned of warrants for above subject’s arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $350.00 bond and was later released.

David Williams 32 yoa of 163 Freetown Lane, Belle Rose, La. was arrested on 10-31-2008 at 9:29 pm for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Deputy was called to the Bayou Vista Truck Stop in reference to suspect causing a disturbance with a patron. While conducting investigation suspect was detained and placed in patrol unit. When removing suspect from unit to conduct investigation he was observed hiding drug paraphernalia in the seat of unit. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $1500.00 bond at this time.

Brent J. Bridges 23 yoa of 132 Vaughn Lane, Verdunville was arrested on 11-1-2008 at 12:39 am for Theft of a Vehicle, Criminal Damage to Property, Failure to Report an Accident, Reckless Operation and Possession of Loritab. Deputy was called to 10822 Hwy 182 in reference to a single vehicle crash. Upon Deputy’s arrival it was learned from homeowner that suspect left the accident walking west on foot. Deputy located suspect and returned him to the scene. During investigation a loritab pill was located in the vehicle. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Shelly B. Landry 24 yoa of 303 Wise St., Patterson was arrested on 11-1-2008 at 12:50 pm on warrants for Failure to Appear on the Charge of disturbing the Peace and Failure to Appear on the charge of Simple Battery. Deputy located suspect in the Bayou Vista area, placed her under arrest on warrants and booked her into the parish jail with a $4000.00 bond and was later released.

William A. McRae 22 yoa of 247 Rayne St., Morgan City was arrested on 11-1-2008 at 2:05 pm for Theft by Shoplifting. Deputy was called to Wal-mart in Bayou Vista in reference to a shoplifter. Upon Deputy’s arrival it was learned from store security that suspect was observed taking a DVD and concealing it on his person, value of item taken was $13.00. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $1000.00 bond and was later released.

Anthony Tillford 21 yoa of 21 yoa of 626 Maple St., Thibodeaux, La. was arrested on 11-2-2008 at 7:49 am for Illegal Discharge of a Firearm. Deputy was called to assist in the investigation of an accident, where it was learned of a suspect firing a gun at the scene. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Amanda Boutwell 22 yoa of 224 North Verrett St., Amelia was arrested on 11-2-2008 at 10:02 am for Possession of Cocaine. Deputy was flagged down and advised of suspect vehicle purchasing illegal narcotics. Deputy conducted a traffic stop on suspect vehicle on Hwy 182 in the Siracusa area. During investigation a search of above suspect’s person a rock of crack cocaine was located on her person. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Curtis J. Broussard 45 yoa of 668 Parish Road 131, Franklin was arrested on 11-2-2008 4:00 pm on a warrant for Simple Assault and Criminal Damage to Property. Deputy was patrolling parish Road 131 when, he conducted a traffic stop. During investigation it was learned of warrants for suspect’s arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $2000.00 bond and was later released.
