The St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force reports the following arrests:
Shirley B. Hebert 35 yoa of 218 Gibbs St., Franklin was arrested last night on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Speeding and was additionally charged with Driving under Suspension, Open Alcoholic container and Possession of Cocaine.
Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were patrolling Cypremort Road in the Four Corners area, when they conducted a traffic stop on suspect vehicle for failing to signal. During investigation it was learned that Hebert had a warrant for his arrest and was driving under suspension. During a search of vehicle a rock of crack cocaine and an open alcoholic container was located in the vehicle. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest on above charges and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
Jazmine J. Jackson 20 yoa of 306 MLK Blvd., Franklin was arrested last night at 8:39 pm for Possession of Ecstasy with Intent to Distribute. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were patrolling Tenth St. in Franklin when they conducted an investigative stop. During investigation Agents located a plastic bag containing several ecstasy pills. After investigation Jackson was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
