ccording to Sheriff David Naquin during the last 24 hours the Sheriff’s Office responded to 49 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Cachet Ogwin 32 yoa of, Morgan City was arrested yesterday morning on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks.

Ruth Moore 51 yoa of Amelia was arrested yesterday morning, on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks.

Lesley Decuire 44 yoa of Amelia was arrested yesterday morning on a warrant for Assumption Parish, for Simple Assault, Simple Criminal Damage to Property and Telephone Harassment. Decuire was located at her residence, placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail and later released to Assumption Parish Sheriff’s office.

Leo Harris 61 yoa , of Amelia, was arrested yesterday on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the charges of Possession of Marijuana and Careless Operation. Harris was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $4000.00 bond and was later released.

Brandon D. Francis, 21 yoa of 111 Sorrel Road in Jeanerette, was arrested yesterday afternoon for Disturbing the Peace and Criminal Trespassing. Hewas placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $750.00 bond at this time.

Jacob Alcina 22 yoa of Patterson, was arrested yesterday afternoon on warrants for Failure to Appear on the charge of Remaining Where Forbidden and Failure to Appear on the charge of Aggravated Assault. Alcina was located at his residence, placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $15,000.00 bond at this time.

Cherie Welch 17 yoa of Baldwin, was arrested yesterday afternoon on a warrant for Theft. Welch was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $500.00 bond and was later released.

Connie L. Schlenker 44 yoa of Morgan City was arrested last night on two warrants for Failure to Comply with Drug Court. Schlenker was located at her residence, placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $200,000.00 bond at this time.
