ST MARY 6/5/09

According to Sheriff David Naquin during the last 24 hours the Sheriff’s Office responded to 26 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Dale A. Wilson Jr. 29 yoa of 128 Andras St., Morgan City was arrested on 6-4-2009 at 6:44 am on two warrants for Failure to Comply with Terms and Conditions of Drug Court. Suspect was located at his residence, placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Rudolph Edwards 56 yoa of 1200 James St., Apt. # 5, Siracusa was arrested on 6-4-2009 at 1:29 pm for Failure to Appear on the charge of Disturbing the Peace. Suspect turned himself into the St. Mary Sheriff’s Office Amelia substation after learning of a warrant for his arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $1500.00 bond at this time.

Rust V. Lawrence 42 yoa of 240 A Freetown Lane, Belle Rose, La. was arrested on 6-4-2009 at 3:59 pm for Failure to Yield when Entering a Roadway and Driving Under Suspension. Deputy was blocking traffic for a funeral detail in the Amelia area, when he observed suspect vehicle enter the roadway from a parking lot causing an 18- Wheeler to slam his breaks and swerve from hitting him. Deputy conducted a traffic stop and after investigation placed suspect under arrest on above charges and issued a summons to appear in court on 9-9-2009.
