St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Press Release

According to Sheriff David Naquin during the last 24 hours the Sheriff’s Office responded to 32 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Kerry W. Sons Jr. 17 yoa of 219 Jones St. Apt. # 5, Berwick was arrested on 6-22-2009 at 2:15 pm on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Suspect turned himself into the Morgan City Sheriff’s Office after learning of a warrant for his arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 9-9-2009.

Terrance Johnson 26 yoa of 310 Terrebonne St., Morgan City was arrested on 6-22-2009 at 4:25 pm on a warrant for Second Degree Battery. Suspect was located at his residence and brought in for questioning in reference to a June 10th incident where victim was robbed of his wallet and several batteries were committed. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest on warrant and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Alejandro Tenorio Jacobo 19 yoa of 144 West Syls Lane, Amelia was arrested on 6-22-2009 at 8:32 pm for Hit and Run Driving and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Lawful Presence in the United States. Deputy was called to the Movie Gallery Parking Lot in Bayou Vista in reference to suspect vehicle backing into another vehicle and leaving the scene. Upon Deputy’s arrival witness gave information on above suspect vehicle. Suspect vehicle was located on Hwy 90 and Duhon Blvd. in Amelia and transported back to the scene were he was identified by witnesses. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Sherrick D. Walker 33 yoa of 407 Railroad Ave., Patterson was arrested on 6-22-2009 at 10:16 pm for Loud Music Prohibited, No Drivers License on Person, and warrants for Failure to appear on the charge of Angling without a License, Failure to Appear for Revocation Hearing and Failure to Appear on the charges of Driving Under Suspension, Expired Inspection Sticker and Expired License Plate. Deputy was patrolling Hwy 90 in the Bayou Vista area, when he observed suspect vehicle playing loud music and conducted a traffic stop. Upon conducting investigation with suspect it was also learned that he had no Drivers license on his person and had several warrants for his arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Desiree Anne Frentz 46 yoa of 300 Wise St., Patterson was arrested on 6-23-2009 at 1:41 am for DWI 2nd and Speeding. Deputy was patrolling Hwy 90 in the Berwick area, when he observed suspect vehicle speeding and conducted a traffic stop. Upon Deputy making contact with suspect an odor of alcoholic beverage was observed upon her person. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the Berwick Police Department and run on the Intoxilyzer 5000. Suspect had a test result of .135g%. Suspect was booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
