BREAKFAST MEETING THIS THURSDAY

The Acadiana Regional Alliance (ARA) an eight parish group announced today its quarterly general meeting will feature an informative discussion on the impact of the Gulf of Mexico moratorium and the oil spill on Acadiana.
Lt. Governor Scott Angelle is the featured speaker.

Frank Fink, Economic Dev. Director for St. Mary Parish and Donna F. Meyer, President for the St. Mary Chamber of Commerce both serve on the Executive Committee for the ARA and encourage our parish to work together with our neighboring parishes aggressively to make sure the president understands the adverse affects of his actions and reverses the moratorium.
“This moratorium is detrimental to the families and economy of St. Mary Parish and the Acadiana area. This meeting will help us make that point.”

The meeting will be held Thursday, June 17, AT 7:30 am at the Petroleum Club of Lafayette (111 Heymann Blvd.) and it includes breakfast. The public is invited to attend. The cost is $20. Seating is limited. Please RSVP to Tina Begnaud at info@breauxbridgelive.com
