FRANKLIN POLICE 6/10

CHIEF SABRIA MCGUIRE OF THE FRANKLIN POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS OVER THE PAST 48 HOURS:

Gerald Spain Sr., 52, of Tenth St - Franklin
was arrested on warrants for 3 counts of Failure to Appear for the charges of Criminal Neglect of Family. Mr. Spain was processed and held on a $43,630.58 bond to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.

Detra Thomas, 32, of Josephine St - Franklin
was arrested on a warrant for Lafayette Parish for Failure to Appear on the charge of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile. Ms. Thomas was also issued a summons for Issuing Worthless Checks to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.

Eric Vincent, 42, of Tabor St - Franklin
was arrested and charged with Speeding 40 MPH in a 25 MPH Zone, Improper Lane Usage, Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Driving Under Suspension. Mr. Vincent was also arrested on a Bench Warrant for 3rd Ward City Court for Obstructing Public Passages and Revoked or Suspended Drivers License. Mr. Vincent was processed and held to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.

Kearney McDaniel, 20, 7th Street - Franklin
while incarcerated at the Franklin Police Department Mr. McDaniel was charged with 2 cts of Forgery and 2 cts of Attempted Theft by Fraud Amount of $100.00. Mr. McDaniel was processed and held with no bond set at time of Press Release to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
