ST MARY PARISH SHERIFF'S OFFICE 6/16

According to Sheriff David Naquin during the last 24 hours the Sheriff’s Office responded to 37 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Tessie Ortis 36 yoa of 616 Breezy Acres, Bayou Vista was arrested yesterday morning on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Ortis was located at her residence, placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court this fall.

Kadeem O. Johnson 20 yoa of 721 Arlington St., Bayou Vista was arrested yesterday morning on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Simple Battery. Johnson turned himself into the Sheriff’s Office after learning of a warrant for his arrest. Johnson was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $2000.00 bond and was later released.

Francisco Javier Garces 21 yoa of 135 Marcel Dr., Bayou Vista and a Male Juvenile 13 yoa of Berwick were arrested last night for Operating an ATV on a Public Roadway. Deputy was called to Wilson’s Boat Landing in Patterson in reference to 4-wheelers riding on roadway and levee. Suspects were located and after investigation was placed under arrest and issued summons to appear in court this fall.
