According to Sheriff David Naquin during the past 24hr period the Sheriff’s Office responded to 127 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Jamaul Wallace age 20 of 173 Village lane Amelia, was arrested Friday morning on a charge of Failure to appear in court for driving under suspension. He was transported to the parish jail for processing and incarceration.
Shannon Barrilleaux age 41 of 1645 Chestnut Drive Morgan City, La was arrested on Friday at 644p night on a warrant for theft. This incident stems from an investigation where Shannon had taken a cash ticket from a machine that another player had won at a casino. She was transported to the parish jail for processing and incarceration.
Huey Hopkins, age 27 of 190 Yellow Bayou Road, Franklin, was arrested on Friday morning on
charges of Reckless Operation and Criminal Tresspassing. He was released on summons.
Robert Perry, age 52 of 2143 River Road, Berwick, was arrested this morning on Charges of Disturbing the Peace and Possession of Marijuana. This follows an investigation where Perry was banging on someones front door and causing the disturbance wanting to fight with the resident. He was placed under arrest and during that time marijuana was found on his person. He was transported to the parish jail for processing and incarceration.
